Partnership for Peace

contributions and activities

what Switzerland is providing in concrete terms...

You will find here an overview of Switzerland's most prominent activities in the Partnership for Peace.

Switzerland supports the Partnership for Peace with a range of substantial contributions; be it in terms of projects, education programmes, or deployments on the ground.

As a key principle, Switzerland is engaged wherever it is in a position to either profit out of its own interests and requirements, or to offer know-how and expertise to its partners.

Individual Partnership Programme (IPP)

Each partner nation presents on an annual basis an Individual Partnership Programme (IPP) to NATO. Therein, the partner nation sets out its priorities and aims with regard to cooperation in the following year. Also Switzerland draws regularly up its IPP which has to be endorsed by the government.
